Subscription Buyout — Pay Remaining Balance in Full
Weekly subscribers can pay their remaining balance in a single payment at any time during the season. This cancels their weekly billing and marks their subscription as paid in full for the rest of the season.
How It Works
- Open your dashboard (via magic link or home screen shortcut)
- Tap the menu icon (top right)
- Tap Pay Remaining Balance to see a quote
- Each subscription shows the total amount and weeks remaining
- Tap Pay on each subscription — redirects to Stripe Checkout
- After payment, the weekly Stripe subscription is cancelled automatically
- Dashboard updates to show "Paid in Full"
Multi-ticket subscribers (e.g. 2 separate subscriptions) pay out each one individually. You can choose to buy out one and keep the other on weekly billing if you prefer.
Pricing
The buyout amount is based on your locked-in weekly rate at the time you signed up. It is NOT recalculated based on remaining games.
Your remaining weekly rate is multiplied by the number of weeks left in the season, plus a small platform fee ($0.99/week) and Stripe processing fee. The one-off payment processing rate (1.7% + $0.30) is lower than the weekly rate (2.4% + $0.30 per week), so you save roughly $7-8 per ticket over the rest of the season.
Example
A subscriber at $10/week, now in week 6 of 27:
- Club portion: $10.00 x 21 weeks = $210.00
- Platform fees: $0.99 x 21 weeks = $20.79
- Stripe processing: ~$4.30
- Total: ~$235.09
Frequently Asked Questions
Will I save money by paying in full? Yes, a small amount. The one-off payment processing fee is lower than the weekly fee.
What happens to my weekly payments? They stop immediately. Your weekly Stripe subscription is cancelled as soon as the buyout payment is confirmed.
Am I still in every draw? Yes. You are covered for all remaining regular season games, State of Origin, and the Grand Final.
Can I pay out just one of my tickets? Yes. If you have multiple subscriptions, you can buy out each one individually from your dashboard.
Do my winnings get deducted? No. Winnings are completely separate and handled by your club. The buyout only covers your subscription fees.
Can I get a refund after paying in full? No. Once paid, the buyout is final. You are covered for all remaining games.
